What We Support
Minnesota FFA Foundation supports five major areas:
We support the important work of agricultural education and FFA through five major project areas:
Provide support of post-secondary studies in agriculturally related careers. As well as provide support to FFA members attending Washington Leadership Conference and State Leadership Conferences.
Future agricultural education instructors are supported as they prepare for their career. There are three universities in the state that prepare individuals to obtain their agricultural education license, they include University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, University of Minnesota-Crookston and Southwest Minnesota State University.
With a membership of nearly 11,000 members, the FFA provides opportunities to develop leadership skills through Career Development Events, conferences and individualized learning through Supervised Agricultural Experience programs. These students are from Minnesota’s 194 chapters located throughout Minnesota.
Support is provided to offer a low registration cost to all students in attendance. Recognition of top individuals and teams in Leadership and Career Development Event and Proficiency Areas. Recognition of donors and sponsors and celebrating members success!
Many other projects are supported by the Foundation in order to support agricultural education and FFA. The work and support of the Golf Tournament, FFA Day at the Twins, Minnesota State Fair, Annual Giving Days, the Great Minnesota Give Together and so many more build and grow support for Minnesota's youth.
